If the root valve (manual valve) of the separator does not close properly, it is generally necessary to relieve pressure in the separator before replacing the root valve. Is there any technique that allows operation of the separator without pressure leakage, or can a component similar to a blind flange be installed between the outlet of the separator and the root valve prior to commissioning?
After trying to turn it off multiple times, it really cannot be shut down, so production has to continue for now. When the system is under maintenance, it will be handled uniformly. If the leakage is not severe, prepare another root valve with it fully open. While ensuring that the material poses no harm to the human body, it is possible to disconnect the root valve, connect a spare valve that is in the fully open position after the leaking root valve, and then close that replacement root valve in order to connect the subsequent piping. In the event of maintenance, thoroughly replace the leaking root valves, and install another valve in the open position as a spare for future use. For reference.
