Hello everyone, I need help finding pipeline materials suitable for 30% hydrochloric acid
What are the specific temperature and pressure? For suitable operating conditions, fluorinated-lined pipes are generally sufficient.
The vast majority of metal materials are not resistant to hydrochloric acid corrosion (including various stainless steel materials), and high-molybdenum high-silicon iron can only be used in hydrochloric acid at 50°C and with a concentration of less than 30%. Unlike metal materials, the vast majority of non-metallic materials exhibit good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid; therefore, rubber-lined pumps and plastic pumps (such as polypropylene, fluoroplastics, etc.) are the best choices for transporting hydrochloric acid
Above 80°C, use fluorinated-lined pipes. Below 80°C, fiberglass reinforced plastic pipes are sufficient
Fluorinated-lined pipes will do; they are durable and resistant to harsh conditions. The initial investment is higher, but the maintenance costs are very low!

You need to specify the exact operating conditions: temperature, pressure, the type of medium, and so on. Only then can they choose the appropriate material for you. For hydrochloric acid, inorganic non-metallic materials are generally used, such as enamel, PP/fluoroplastic linings, fiberglass, and the like
If there is no temperature, both PE and PP liners can be used
