Is the nominal pressure of this tee CL3000? Or is the CL3000 value merely used to indicate the wall thickness of the tee, and does not reflect the nominal pressure, which is determined based on the design pressure of the pipeline?
It must be 3000, right? The wall thickness is determined based on the engineering pressure, isn’t that true?
The lowest grade for standard American-style socket-welded tees is the 3000 series. Personal estimates take into account many factors, including issues such as stress stiffness and welding.
It is recommended to check SH/T 3410 or ASME B16.11
