In recent days, the construction project for the industrial steam supply pipeline from Jinshan Thermal Power Plant in Hohhot to Jinqiao Industrial Park has been progressing at full speed. As the largest industrial steam long-distance transmission pipeline project in the country at present, the two industrial steam pipelines it involves run through Tumote Left Banner, Yuquan District, and Saihan District, with the total length of the external pipeline network being 32 kilometers. At present, the project is progressing in an orderly manner, and it is expected to be ready for steam testing by the end of June. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will be able to supply 800 tons of high-quality industrial steam per hour to industrial and commercial enterprises along its route. Through methods such as steam-driven heating and waste heat recovery, it will enable annual savings of 72,000 tons of standard coal, as well as a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 210,000 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 93 tons, nitrogen oxide emissions by 151 tons, and dust emissions by 18 tons. This approach will yield benefits both in terms of economic returns and environmental protection.
