The calculation documents for safety valve design require the determination of the displacement coefficient; however, an actual displacement value can only be ascertained through type testing. Is it necessary to determine the displacement coefficient when applying to a third-party agency for such testing? Also, does anyone have a type test report for safety valves? I would like to learn more about this
Before applying to the Special Inspection Agency, do I need to conduct a type test first to determine the parameters in the calculation sheet?
