This marks the first time that this unit has overcome a technical challenge in this industry, as it successfully carried out electromagnetic eddy current internal inspection on 4 small-diameter gas pipelines with a diameter of DN100 (with a total length of 13.5 kilometers). This achievement fills a technical gap in the field of high-precision, intelligent internal inspection for small-diameter pipelines in China. For a long time, the inspection of small-diameter gas pipelines of DN100 and below has been a critical challenge facing the oil and gas industry. The electromagnetic eddy current internal inspection technology innovatively applied in the Zhejiang oil field utilizes a self-developed miniature inspection device to overcome the limitations associated with working in confined spaces. It is capable of filtering out electromagnetic interference, enabling detection of defects such as reduced pipe wall thickness, corrosion pits, and local depressions with millimeter-level precision, thus providing an effective tool for the safe monitoring of small-diameter pipes. The successful completion of this inspection task in the Yunshanba operation area not only provided comprehensive \"health check reports\" on the condition of the 4 key pipeline distribution branches, offering detailed data support for subsequent pipeline maintenance and the resolution of potential issues, but also set a benchmark for intelligent inspection methods within the industry. The breakthrough application of this technology opens up a new and efficient approach for ensuring the safe operation of small-diameter pipelines that are located in complex terrains and under challenging operating conditions. It holds significant practical value for improving the inherent safety level of oil and gas field pipeline networks in China and advancing the intelligent development of pipeline integrity management.
