The aviation fuel pipeline project from Hunan Petrochemical to Huanghua Airport has been completed and put into operation

On March 2, the kerosene pipeline project from Hunan Petrochemical to Huanghua International Airport in Changsha, Hunan, was completed across its entire length and put into operation successfully on the first attempt. This project is a key project in Hunan Province. The pipeline is nearly 214 kilometers long, and alongside it, 1 head station processing facility, 10 line isolation valve rooms, and 1 tail station receiving facility will be constructed. Once in operation, 2.5 million tons of high-quality aviation fuel can be transported annually from Hunan Petrochemical to the Huanghua Airport fuel depot. This will not only meet the aviation fuel needs of that airport but also supply fuel for other airports within Hunan Province. During the project construction and system joint commissioning phases, Hunan Petrochemical strengthened its cooperation with the contractor, focusing on improving the technical management capabilities for the construction and operation of long-distance pipelines, thereby laying a solid foundation for the pipeline’s operation.
