Generally not, to prevent the valve disc from falling and causing accidents
Are you referring to the steam pipes, or is the gas source steam?
Why are electric valves commonly used for steam control?
Generally, control valves are installed on horizontal pipelines; they can also be installed on vertical pipelines as required by the piping layout, in which case support measures should be taken.
It’s usually a control valve assembly, right? It’s placed horizontally somewhere; it’s fine for a single valve to be vertical, but it looks strange when an entire valve assembly is vertical. So I’ve never seen a valve assembly installed vertically. Isn’t your control valve a valve assembly?
I’ve learned it. We’re all at the same level; there’s always a way to reach that level – it’s reliable.
During installation, the actuator must be in a vertical position; a horizontal position is not acceptable
Why install it vertically? Aren’t they usually perpendicular to horizontal pipes?
