Looking at a process diagram, there are many things I don’t understand; it’s completely confusing. On the process diagram, the valve is marked with “hds” and then followed by “av”. Could someone please explain what these symbols mean? They are located on the SO3 gas storage tank. What is the exact meaning of HDS? Does AV stand for atmospheric venting? ? Please, an expert, give me an answer
