Dear bosses, the small needle valve spools in our sample collectors tend to leak internally. I would like to order some replacements, but I’m not sure about the model numbers; could everyone please help me out by taking a look? Stellite sealed globe valve KPJ91Y-160P – what does KP stand for? J stands for a globe valve, 9 indicates a pressure rating of 2500 LB, and 1 refers to a valve cover design with bolted connections and a swing-type mechanism. What does Y mean? And what does 160P mean? Please explain these to us.

It’s better to ask the manufacturer directly in this case. There are many different models of stop valves available, with subtle differences between them; those who are not professional manufacturers will likely not be able to tell the difference
I asked the manufacturer, and the KP at the beginning is an abbreviation for the manufacturer’s name
