Who knows how the situation is with glass, which is a downstream product of soda ash? Are there any signs of price increases, or has the inventory decreased?
So far, there’s been no activity; all we know is that there have been shutdowns related to glass fiber production, but no new projects have started.
Indeed, that’s what I keep hearing—such depressing news!
What should I do? The market is doing so poorly right now. When will it finally start to function properly again?
As an employee of a soda ash production company, I also look forward to the revival of the glass industry. But for the market to truly function well, I have no idea how long I’ll have to wait.

Currently, the soda ash market is rather sluggish, while ammonium chloride is faring somewhat better. As a result, most ammonia-soda plants have reduced production, shut down operations, or are incurring losses; only integrated soda ash plants can barely stay afloat!
