Hello everyone: Our company is a chemical manufacturer that produces caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride. However, since the remaining liquid chlorine needs to be sold at a loss, we are looking for chemical products that consume chlorine in order to extend our industrial chain and produce products with higher added value. Please help us recommend a viable industrial chain that can generate high returns.

Chlorine-based downstream products are generally highly toxic and polluting, and with such strict environmental regulations, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the chlor-alkali industry to survive.
In ordinary chlorine-consuming processes, hydrochloric acid is often produced as a by-product when one chlorine atom is consumed. The phosgene gasification route can be considered; moreover, combining it with the petrochemical industry to develop ECH would also be a good option.
