Soda ash production in September both decreased year-on-year and month-on-month due to: China Chemical Information Network from * * The Bureau of Statistics learned that the output of soda ash (sodium carbonate) in September was 1.959 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9% and a month-on-month decrease of 2.97% (the output of soda ash in August was 2.019 million tons). From January to September, the cumulative output of soda ash (sodium carbonate) was 17.983 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%. 　　In addition, the output of caustic soda (100% discount) in September was 2.264 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.7% and a month-on-month increase of 4.67% (the output of caustic soda in August was 2.163 million tons). From January to September, the total domestic output of caustic soda (100% discount) was 19.599 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
