I’d like to ask all the sea friends! How do you handle your used ion membrane gaskets? What else can this be used for?
I suppose the original poster has some good ideas? How about that? Take it out and let’s discuss it together
It can be incinerated, but the PFA layer must be removed; otherwise, incineration will have an impact on the environment.
Since used ion-exchange membrane gaskets are made of EPDM material, which has a much better quality than ordinary rubber, they can be cut into smaller gaskets for use in various chemical applications; their quality is quite good.
The amount to be replaced was small, so it was simply discarded
Send it to the rubber factory for recycling, to avoid polluting the environment.
