Hello: Our company obtained the approval procedures for a 150,000-ton caustic soda production project in 2005 due to a site relocation; this project was divided into Phase 1 with a capacity of 50,000 tons and Phase 2 with a capacity of 100,000 tons. Phase 1 was constructed and put into operation in 2008. Currently, as the Titanium Industry Group plans to build a titanium dioxide chlorination plant, a large amount of chlorine is required. What approval processes are required for the second-phase construction of our unit? Is the original approval for 150,000 tons still valid? Is it better to go with a project designed for titanium dioxide chlorination, or to use the original approval procedures? I hope everyone can offer some suggestions. Thank you!
Since it’s from the same group, there should be no need for repeated approval, right? It can be produced for internal use.
