Request for changes to pipeline design standards

The company’s industrial pipes are based on old standards from many years ago; it is necessary to carry out partial renovations on these pipes. New pipe standards are now in use, so I would like to know whether the materials and technical specifications for these partial renovations should be based on the old standards or the new ones.

New projects shall follow the new standards, while those already in use are not affected. For the intermediate connections, non-standard components with alternative materials or those that meet the specifications will suffice
If it’s not designed according to the new standards, can it pass the review?
