Just do a test and you’ll know; it’s probably due to iron.
Colors might also get mixed in; an iron ion test is needed.
It can only be said that this is a possibility, but it isn’t necessarily high-iron alkali. It is possible to analyze whether the iron content in the alkali is within the standard range; if it exceeds the limit, then the iron level is too high ; There is another scenario, namely a slight red tint on the surface; in such a case, it is not necessarily due to a high iron content in the product.
This needs to be tested in order to determine accurately. A small sample can be taken, acidified with hydrochloric acid, and then a qualitative test for iron ions can be conducted.
It is best to take a certain amount of soda ash sample for a quantitative analysis. Determine the total iron content first. High iron and high alkali levels generally occur when the soda ash plant is just started up or shut down. When pipe corrosion is severe, there will also be high levels of iron and alkali.
