Our company originally used Suqing resin in its mixed-bed systems; it has been almost 8 years since those systems were put into operation. Due to the insufficient strength of this resin, we plan to replace it. Therefore, we are consulting our peers to find out which manufacturer’s resin they use and what the results have been
In this case, it’s best to ask the manufacturer for some samples, evaluate them, and then make a decision. Resins from large manufacturers generally come with excellent quality assurance; Nankai University used to produce such resins. Also pay attention to the crosslinking degree of the resin; if the strength is not good, choose a resin with a higher crosslinking degree. The later fragmentation of the resin is also related to the regeneration conditions and the number of times it is done.
Switch to reverse osmosis membranes. There is no significant sensory advantage in resin exchange.

Professional resin manufacturers: Zhengguang Resin, Suqing, Dongda, imported Rohm and Haas, Tialite, Dussmann. If cost is not a concern, Rohm and Haas can be chosen – it is world-class. The strength of the resin increases as the degree of cross-linking increases; of course, a smaller pore size corresponds to a lower exchange capacity
