Some time ago, the hose at the anode outlet of the electrolyzer turned a darker yellow color (due to excessive iron ions); later, the parameters of the brine returned to normal, and the brine at the anode outlet also regained its normal color. However, the hose remains colored – what method can be used to clean it quickly and effectively? I would like to ask the experts here!
When there is an opportunity for maintenance, simply swap the anode and cathode hoses. When cleaning with hydrochloric acid, it is necessary to protect the large nuts, otherwise the nuts may lose their luster again.
