Recently, the company put into operation a new chlorine liquefaction refrigeration unit (York). The supplier of this unit (for technical support and after-sales service) has set a requirement to control the lower limit of the unit’s exhaust pressure (it must be above 1.25 Mpa). Previously, we used Wu Leng’s chlorine liquefaction refrigeration units, and for those units the manufacturer only imposed a limit on the exhaust pressure, with no requirement regarding a lower limit (above 1.25 Mpa). I would like to ask my colleagues who use chlorine-based liquid refrigeration units (York) the following: 1. Is there also a requirement to control the lower limit of the exhaust pressure during unit operation (above 1.25 Mpa)? 2. Why is it necessary to control the lower limit of exhaust pressure? What refrigerant is used? It should be related to it. If the forced lubrication constraints of the compressor oil pump are reduced, there are far fewer limitations. One more question: Is the unit explosion-proof?
The maximum exhaust pressure for the York liquefaction unit is 1500 KPA, and the minimum is 900 KPA; It should be maintained at 1100–1200 KPA, with R22 as the refrigerant ; It will shut down when the pressure exceeds the upper and lower limits
The Wu Leng products are terrible; they’re extremely uncomfortable to use, so we switched to the Dalian Iceberg ones.
Chlorine liquefaction refrigerator? With so many safe media to choose from, why use a highly toxic one?
Is the engine unit cooled by oil using a refrigerant? Is it a concern that low exhaust pressure and insufficient refrigerant might affect the oil temperature?
