Are there any manufacturers that design systems for removing calcium and magnesium by adding strontium phosphate to saltwater? Please help recommend them.

The use of sodium phosphate to remove calcium and magnesium from brine has been the subject of research for over a decade; it can be said that this method is effective in removing calcium and magnesium. However, its industrial application is rare. In my opinion, there are several reasons for this limited use: 1. The cost of sodium phosphate is high, which imposes a significant burden on companies over the long term; 2. During the demagnesiation process, sulfate ions cannot be effectively removed; therefore, a separate unit for removing sulfate ions (i.e., denitration) is required ; 3. At present, there is no mature optimized control for the process conditions used to remove calcium and magnesium using sodium phosphate, which also limits the widespread adoption of this process ; 4. The impact of the introduced phosphate ions (which are converted into hydrogen phosphate or dihydrogen phosphate after secondary purification) on subsequent processes has not been thoroughly studied, and there are also uncertain factors regarding the effect of phosphate accumulation on the electrolysis process.
