Approval granted for Shandong Asde’s additional 50,000 tons/year calcium formate production project. Recently, approval for Shandong Asde Technology Co., Ltd.’s 50,000 tons/year calcium formate production project was announced on relevant websites. This project is a new construction project, located within the existing facility of Shandong Asde Technology Co., Ltd. in the Feicheng Chemical Industry Park. The total investment for the project is 187.9265 million yuan (of which 13.4 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures). A calcium formate production facility with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons will be built, along with associated environmental protection facilities. Public and auxiliary facilities such as a recirculating water system, desalination station, air compression nitrogen generation station, comprehensive maintenance workshop, central control room, central laboratory, and sewage treatment station will make use of the existing infrastructure in the factory area. The project utilizes a carbonylation process using carbon monoxide and calcium hydroxide; upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of calcium formate.
