According to the Tianyancha app, a patent titled “A device for loading/unloading mercury chloride catalysts used in PVC production and for treating waste gases”, applied for by Ningxia Yinglite Chemical Co., Ltd., was published recently. The abstract indicates that this invention discloses a device for the loading/unloading of mercury chloride catalysts used in PVC production as well as a system for treating waste gases; it falls within the field of technology related to PVC production equipment. The device comprises a first fixed plate, a converter reaction tube, a first fixing frame, a carrying box, a waste liquid collection tank, a waste liquid neutralization tank, and a mounting plate. A suction pipe is fixedly connected to the inner side of the first fixed plate. By incorporating components such as a first slide rail, a second slide rail, a servo motor, and a cylinder, this invention enables automated positioning and lifting of the suction pipe. Together with machine vision cameras and inertial measurement units, this improves the accuracy of aligning the suction pipe with the converter reaction tube. Ring pressure sensors and sealing gaskets ensure a tight seal at the connection point, thereby increasing the efficiency of catalyst loading/unloading. The mechanized handling of mercury chloride catalysts helps to eliminate environmental pollution caused by manual handling of these catalysts, reduces the risks to human health resulting from the dispersion of mercury-containing catalyst dust, and replaces manual labor with machinery, thus reducing the workload on workers.
