Is it feasible for copper plants to produce fuming sulfuric acid without using a sulfuric acid storage tank, and instead to feed the acid directly through pipelines into a high-level tank for loading? Have you seen similar methods in actual production, and are there any related processes?
There should still be a cache, right? Can you guarantee that the sulfuric acid produced will be transported away in a timely manner and won’t accumulate? The sump tank is generally not very large and does not have much storage capacity; therefore, a storage tank is usually still necessary. This can only be determined based on your production volume and the usage by downstream users.
Storage tanks are still needed, no matter the size of the installation. The larger the device, the larger the storage tank
It is possible to make the sump into a storage tank. A plant with a capacity of 40,000 tons is just like that.
