As the title says. We have a lot of hydrochloric acid with a low concentration in the factory at the moment; I’m not sure if it’s possible to concentrate it to 99.8%.
In industry, the concentration of hydrochloric acid usually does not exceed 38%, because above this concentration, hydrochloric acid begins to release hydrogen gas. Furthermore, excessively high concentrations of hydrochloric acid will generate a large amount of heat, which may pose a danger. So, generally speaking, we are unable to produce 99.8% hydrochloric acid. .
No way, we buy products with a purity of 99.8% in order to purify them and produce hydrogen chloride with a purity of 99.999%.

If your factory has hydrochloric acid at a low concentration and you wish to increase it to a higher level (such as 99.8%), you can consider using methods such as distillation or adsorption for concentration; however, specialized equipment and technology are required to ensure the safety and efficiency of this process. It seems that this 99.8% refers to the purity of hydrogen chloride gas; it definitely isn’t hydrochloric acid: lol
