The scaling problem in sulfuric acid plants mainly occurs in equipment such as heat exchangers, condensers, absorption towers, and pipelines. These deposits are mainly caused by the cooling and absorption of sulfuric acid vapor or sulfur-containing flue gases; as the temperature drops, part of the sulfuric acid and other impurities (such as iron, calcium, etc.) crystallize or precipitate, forming hard deposits. These deposits affect the heat transfer efficiency and fluid flow of the equipment, increasing energy consumption and maintenance costs. .
