Current mainstream quotations for calcium carbide PVC SG-5: South China 6100-6250 yuan/ton self-pickup ； East China 6100-6200 yuan/ton self-pickup ； Shandong 6020-6100 yuan/ton delivered ； Hebei 6020-6100 yuan/ton delivered. The mainstream quotation of ethylene-based PVC 1000 is 6350-6450 yuan/ton. With the price of PVC rising day by day, after the price of calcium carbide PVC exceeded the 6,200 yuan/ton mark, merchants gradually showed a wait-and-see attitude. Today, the PVC futures market has fallen from its high level, and the market's enthusiasm for chasing prices has cooled down slightly. Transactions are still mainly based on rigid demand, and shipments are tepid. At present, the demand for downstream pipes and profiles is stable. As the good news is gradually digested, it is expected that the PVC market outlook will maintain a high level consolidation pattern. Brief review of caustic soda: Today, the domestic caustic soda market performance is weak and stable. Liquid alkali aspect: The price of Shandong Yangmei Hengtong's 32% ion membrane alkali has risen to 1,020 yuan/ton, and the market quotation of Shandong liquid alkali is between 960-1,050 yuan/ton, with the center of gravity shifting slightly. Regarding caustic soda: The market has a strong bearish mentality. Although chlor-alkali plants such as Baotou Sea Level and Shaanxi Jintai have been shut down for maintenance, the market has a strong wait-and-see mentality. The mainstream quotation of 99% caustic soda in the northwest is 3550-3850 yuan/ton. Towards the end of the month, all parties are actively shipping goods.
