On January 15, 2026, the first overseas production facility under Zhonglun New Materials – the Changsu High-Performance Film Production Facility in Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as the “Changsu Indonesia Production Facility”) – was officially put into operation. With a market share of over 20% in the global market for functional film materials such as BOPA (biaxially oriented polyamide film), Zhonglun New Materials is known as the \"King of Nylon Films\". In recent years, as demand from global BOPA downstream markets has continued to rise, overseas operations have become an important driver of growth for Zhonglun New Materials. It is reported that among Zhonglun New Materials’ production bases, the Indonesian Changsu production base is the fourth one to come online, following the Xiamen functional film materials production base, the new energy film materials production base, and the Quanzhou integrated industrial chain base. The facility is located in the Surabaya Industrial Park in West Java, Indonesia. The total investment in this project exceeds 1 billion yuan, with a planned annual production capacity of 90,000 tons of high-performance membrane materials. Once operational at full capacity, this facility will become the largest BOPA production base in Southeast Asia. “The operation of Indonesia’s long-plastic production facility enables Zhonglun New Materials to establish a localized supply chain in Southeast Asia, significantly reducing delivery times to markets in the Asia-Pacific region as well as Europe and the United States, and improving the speed of service response. ”Zhonglun New Materials stated that, at the same time, the company has developed a global production network with Xiamen and Quanzhou as its domestic hubs and Indonesia as its overseas hub, thereby establishing a coordinated industrial chain across the world. Yang Qingjin, chairman of Zhonglun New Materials, said, “The plastic production facility in Indonesia is a key step in the company’s global expansion strategy.” In the future, the company also plans to further expand its production capacity in regions such as Europe and the United States, and by expanding its products, brands, production capabilities, and R&D efforts on a global scale, it aims to actively participate in global industrial competition and cooperation. ”
