According to a March 2026 announcement by Pingmei Shenma Group, the newly built unit for drying 80,000 tons of adipic acid per year at the Nylon Chemical Company successfully passed a 72-hour continuous full-load performance test. During the testing period, the new unit operated smoothly; its process parameters were precisely controllable, and the product quality remained consistently within specifications. Notably, energy consumption was reduced by approximately 10% compared to the design values. This indicates that the unit possesses stable and efficient production capabilities, and it has now officially entered a one-year trial production phase. The new unit features an advanced dual-effect cyclone dust removal system and a three-stage zoned circulating packed-bed scrubber, which significantly enhances its ability to capture dust particles. Currently, the exhaust emission level of this device is stably maintained below 10 mg/m³, which is far better than the **emission standards. In addition, the facility has also upgraded its automatic fire alarm and sprinkler linkage system, enabling early and intelligent detection of fires as well as precise responses to them. The nylon chemicals adipic acid drying capacity expansion project modifies the existing #2 adipic acid production process. Based on the existing facility, 80,000-tonne of drying capacity along with related infrastructure will be built; advanced fluidized bed drying technology available in China will be utilized to produce high-quality adipic acid powder products, thereby increasing the capacity utilization rate of the current adipic acid production plant. Pingmei Shenma Nylon Technology Company has a production capacity of 250,000 tons of adipic acid.
