Is there startup protection steam for the waste heat boiler section? Our design doesn’t have this, and it has caused dry burning in the overheating section; please advise, experts
Short periods of dry cooking are no problem; at first the temperature is low, and steam starts to be produced once the temperature rises!
At the beginning of operation, the pressure in the drum should not be set too high; it is sufficient to ensure that the superheating section does not exceed the temperature limit permitted by the material.
There is one, but it’s never been used
It’s better to use it if available, as it’s more secure.
