Low-flow combustion line for continuous reforming units

I’ve seen installations where a hydrogen line is added to direct the hydrogen back before it reaches the reforming feed heat exchanger; it seems that this line is installed to protect the heat exchanger. I would like to ask those with more experience how exactly this line serves to protect the heat exchanger?
When the reforming hydrogen generator stops suddenly, this line can be opened to ensure continuous gas flow through the bed, thereby preventing too large changes in the pressure difference before and after the plate heat exchanger
Generally speaking, how much hydrogen can this line contain? If the amount is too small, will transferring heat to the reactor while the heating furnace is still not cooled have an impact on the catalyst?
The amount is very small, so it won’t cause a large temperature difference in the bed layer, which could damage the catalyst and the plate heat exchanger
This varies depending on the specifications of your heat exchanger and the flow rate; the minimum flow rate for our device is 3000
Several reprocessing plants I’ve seen have this wire. We have them here too. Agree with the second-floor view.
