The desuperheater reduces the temperature by injecting boiler water. In the engineering design, a safety valve is installed on the pipeline between the control valve of the boiler water injection line and the point where the water enters the desuperheater. Experts, what are the functions of this safety valve?
Are there any other functions? The pressure of the water in our boiler is 5.8 MPa, while that of the high-pressure steam is 3.6 MPa. However, both pipelines are of 5A grade; one is made of ordinary carbon steel, whereas the one for steam is made of heat-resistant steel.

What is the set pressure of the safety valve? Is this the only safety valve along the entire boiler water line?
