UOP continuous reforming recontactor

Hello everyone, what is the function of the recontactor in a reforming unit? Thank you!
Does re-contacting involve no reaction? It seems to be the oil coming out of the reformate separator reacting with hydrogen.
No answer was given. Not a single cent was given:o
To separate oil from hydrogen! The hydrogen coming out of the reformation separation tank contains a large amount of light hydrocarbons, which need to be condensed! High hydrogen purity results in a high liquid yield as well!
From a process perspective, it involves the re-contact of the oil from the reformation separation tank with recycled hydrogen; then why is separation still necessary after mixing? Thank you
