The heat exchange tube bundles for the fractionation overhead circulation oil and hot water in the catalytic unit often leak; their service life is at most 3 years. What is your unit’s service life? Are there any effective ways to prevent this (for corrosion protection inside and outside the tube bundles)?

Mm. Previously, it was a tube bundle made of 10# steel. It’s pretty much the same as what you said.

There was no preservative treatment, and no corrosion occurred. Before switching to stainless steel, the tube bundles tended to develop perforations; however, after four years of use with stainless steel, no significant corrosion was observed during major maintenance and cleaning inspections.
The material selected for the oil-gas/hot water heat exchanger at the top of the catalytic fractionator is 254SMO. The tube bundle of the top circulation-hot water heat exchanger is made of carbon steel.
