How is the pressure drop in a centrifugal separator generated? What are its influencing factors? What is the impact of the level of voltage drop?
The pressure drop generated as the dust-laden gas passes through the centrifuge and enters the gas collection chamber. The measured value is the pressure difference between the centrifugal separator inlet and the gas collection chamber. There are many influencing factors, such as line speed, composition, and the specific operating conditions of the centrifuge. Centrifugation has its own design values, and the separation effect is best within the appropriate range. A high value may be caused by coking, while a low value could result from gaps in the material legs or insensitive flap valves.
