1. Structural types of biogas flow meters: integrated structure and split structure. An integrated structure is generally used, while a split structure is employed only in special cases (such as when the medium temperature is high, the ambient temperature or humidity is high, or when an on-site display is needed for easier reading). 2. Connection method of biogas flow meter: flange-mounted type (the meter body has no flange) or flange-connected type (the meter body itself has a flange). It is generally recommended to choose the flange-mounted type, as it has a compact structure, low cost, and a short delivery time. 3. Explosion-proof types of biogas flow meters: non-explosion-proof type and intrinsically safe explosion-proof type. If the medium being measured is a flammable or explosive substance, or if there are such substances in the measurement environment, an explosion-proof model should be selected. 4. Signal output methods for biogas flow meters: pulse signal output and 4–20mA standard current signal output. In general, it is recommended to use pulse signal output, as pulse signals correspond directly to the vortex shedding frequency without the need for conversion, thereby achieving the highest cumulative accuracy ; At the same time, the pulse signal transmission performance is good. Standard current signal output is generally used to form a flow measurement system together with a terminal or control system. 5. Biogas flow meter display methods: no on-site display, with on-site display, and only on-site display. On-site display refers to the presence of a liquid crystal display circuit on the gauge, which can show parameters such as cumulative flow rate and instantaneous flow rate.
