I have a gentle question. The startup plan for the catalytic cracking unit includes a requirement that the Storage and Transportation Department prepare the oil needed for startup; one of the specifications relates to gasoline – it must be non-corrosive, with a dry point of less than 205°C. I’m not quite sure why there is a requirement regarding the dry point for gasoline. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you
Less than 205°C – that is a quality parameter for gasoline; if it’s too high, it will affect the time until the gasoline meets the required standards. It’s mainly for stabilizing the system. You said that the gasoline used to introduce the stabilization system is of poor quality; isn’t that quite troublesome?
