Hello, everyone. We would like to install a frequency converter in the 200L reactors in our company’s API synthesis workshop in order to control the speed of these reactors, and we have some questions we’d like to ask everyone. 1. Can a frequency converter be installed directly on the motor? Do the wire circuits in the motor need to be adjusted? 2. Are there any explosion-proof frequency converters? Is a box needed to prevent explosions? Is just an inverter enough? 3. What type of inverter is suitable for a 2.2kw motor? 4. Are there any manufacturers you can recommend? I’ve only found Hangzhou Aosheng; are there any other manufacturers? What’s the approximate price? I would really appreciate everyone’s help. Thank you very much.
Delexi offers products from Mitsubishi, Siemens and many other brands; those with a capacity of 2.2 KW are very cheap, costing up to 2000 yuan. The wiring used is not explosion-proof, so an explosion-proof enclosure is required
Buy an inverter and then a flame-proof box? Should it be placed in the distribution box? Can an explosion-proof certificate be obtained? How is the heat dissipation of the explosion-proof box?
1. Can a frequency converter be installed directly on the motor? Do the wire circuits in the motor need to be adjusted? Just add an inverter directly. 2. Are there any explosion-proof inverters? Is a box needed to prevent explosions? Is just an inverter enough? Without an explosion-proof frequency converter, even an explosion-proof enclosure is not suitable; heat dissipation is a major issue. In fact, it’s not necessary to place the frequency converter on-site; a simple explosion-proof speed control box with a tachometer can be used instead. 3. What type of inverter is suitable for a 2.2kw motor? Just choose according to the instructions. 4. Are there any manufacturers you can recommend? I’ve only found Hangzhou Aosheng; are there any other manufacturers? What’s the approximate price? Domestic frequency converters can be used, such as Chint’s
I work in a company that deals with active pharmaceutical ingredients as well; we can exchange ideas and learn from each other*
This is an experienced answer from you. Thank you
Your motor must be an inverter-driven motor in order to use an inverter
It’s really easy to install a frequency converter in a 200L small boiler, but doesn’t your company have a dedicated control room? Otherwise, heat dissipation of the frequency converter and dust accumulation on the RST cable pose problems during summer. Currently, our company makes frequent use of frequency converters from Conver, Delta, and Mitsubishi. In my opinion, for domestic brands it is better to choose a model of a slightly higher capacity; for joint-venture brands, the same model can be used. However, the specific choice still depends on the speed required and the viscosity of the medium in your company’s application.
There is a room for the control cabinet, located in a non-explosion-proof area
