Hello everyone. Our company is in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, and we require our production workers to wear anti-static safety shoes, mainly to prevent accidents that could be caused by static electricity generated by the human body. However, electricians sometimes enter the areas where production and storage take place to carry out their work, and they wear insulating shoes; this poses a problem in terms of eliminating static electricity from the human body. After discussion, it was decided that electricians should wear anti-static ankle straps when entering these areas. But when working on live circuits, there is a risk of electric shock due to leakage current. So what should be done in such situations?
