I have a professional question for everyone. I am currently using two pumps driven by 200KW motors for production purposes; the actual power consumption of each motor is around 90KW (as calculated based on the output current and voltage of the frequency converter). While meeting the same production requirements, I replaced the pump head with a larger one, kept the motor unchanged, and switched from using two pumps to just one. How much energy can be saved in this way, and how is that calculated? Seek answers from professionals
Under the condition of meeting the requirements of the production process, the total amount of power saved by the pumps represents the benefit of the renovation.

Switching to a single pump should result in energy savings equal to the sum of the improvements in motor efficiency and pump efficiency; currently, it’s like using a powerful engine for a task that requires less power. If a larger pump head is used, the efficiency of the motor’s output will definitely increase
