The no-load current of a 0.25kW motor is the same as its rated current

0.33HP, 0.25kW imported motor, 220/380 voltage; rated current of 1.44/0.83A, and no-load currents of 0.80, 0.80, and 0.77 respectively. The direct resistance is also within the acceptable range. What’s going on? The motor from 2008 has never been used; it’s now being reused in another location. Could it be that the windings have aged?
With such a small motor, the current difference is surely minimal; you can use it with confidence
