In current projects, the schedule is often tight, and construction is not carried out strictly in the order specified in the design drawings. For example, the structure usually receives the conditions from upstream only at the end, but civil construction tends to be carried out earliest. How can the sequencing of civil engineering drawings be adjusted to meet the on-site construction requirements? For example, if the contractor needs to purchase materials in bulk which will take some time, how can the work schedules of both parties be coordinated? I’m not familiar with structural design; I’d like some advice!

It is generally recommended to carry out construction on-site after certain progress has been achieved in the structural design. If the project timeline is tight, it is possible to coordinate with the designers; the design schedule should be aligned with the on-site construction progress, and the owner’s procurement plan must also fit in with this schedule.
