A slip motor is composed of a slip clutch combined with a conventional asynchronous motor, and it enables uniform, continuous, stepless speed control within a specified range. The slip speed control method based on slip electrolysis also has its drawbacks, which should be overcome as much as possible in practice; this is of great value for reducing the operating costs of the system and improving the reliability of the speed control system. http://yunrun.com.cn/upload/201712/25/201712252217273783.png yunrun.com.cn/tech/1681.html Disadvantages of the common slip speed control method: ① Slip motors are prone to failure in environments with high dust levels; for example, in power plant coal feeding systems where there is a lot of coal dust, slip motors often get damaged due to blockages caused by the coal flow. ②Slip motors are prone to stall and synchronization during operation, require extensive maintenance, and are difficult to repair. ③Slip motor speed control systems have poor performance, low control accuracy, and large errors. If slip motors are used in the coal feeding system of power plants, it is difficult to achieve precise calculation and control of the coal feeding amount. Especially in boilers with direct-fired coal grinding systems, it is difficult to maintain a constant speed for the coal feeder; the speed of the coal feeder varies significantly, making it hard to control the coal supply, and as a result, the combustion conditions are not very stable. ④The wiring of the slip motor speed control system is complex, and wire breaks often occur (as determined by the principle of slip motor speed control), which in turn affects the proper operation of the speed control system. ⑤Slip motor protection has limited functions, and motors often burn out due to overload. ⑥Slip motors have poor speed control characteristics and stability. In power plants with straight-fired coal grinding systems, since the amount of coal supplied by the coal feeder is equal to the amount of coal ground by the coal grinder, which in turn equals the fuel consumption of the boiler, this affects the automatic regulation of the main steam pressure and the stability of the load, thereby impacting the normal operation of the boiler. ⑦Slip-speed control motors have low efficiency, high losses, and are prone to failure.
