Does the energy storage mechanism of a high-voltage circuit breaker start storing energy after closing? Does the energy storage system only allow one opening and closing cycle each time?
Yes, each time mechanical energy storage is used, only one closing operation can be performed; no energy storage is required for opening operations. At present, it is not possible to use stored energy to carry out multiple closing operations

Once the energy storage is completed properly, it can provide the energy needed for one closing operation; the switch closes using the power stored for this purpose. Subsequently, if the energy storage selection switch is in the automatic energy storage position, the energy storage motor is powered on and starts to operate; the tension spring mechanism then carries out the energy storage process, after which the energy storage motor stops running.
