How do I branch off a 3*185 cable with another 3*95 cable in the middle? Divide it into a tee in the middle. Could a master explain it to me? Thank you!
Are you referring to cables with a voltage of over 6KV? It’s still a low-voltage cable; in any case, it cannot be directly split at a tee junction – a junction box should be used. For high-voltage cables, an additional wiring box is necessary
The main cable is a low-voltage cable of 3×185+1×95; now a cable of 3×95+1×50 has been installed. Since this newly installed cable isn’t very long, the original plan was to use the penetration joint of the main cable. As there is no extra length available on the main cable, it’s not practical to add a junction box in between. Is it possible to connect the newly installed cable directly to the main cable? And what method should be used for this connection? Can the nose pieces be pressed together and connected with screws?
Generally, a power distribution box is used, with smaller wires then leading to the devices at the lower end. Additionally, the current at the device side needs to be taken into account
