Can a 10KV 1600kw motor and control system be modified for use with a 6KV power grid? Is such modification possible? Renovation costs and difficulty!
The voltage and current parameters are already set during motor manufacturing, so it’s likely difficult to change them!
The original wiring of the 10KV motor was changed to a triangular connection to directly operate at 6KV. No modification is required for the secondary circuit
Upon inquiry, the original manufacturer of the motor can modify it to 6000V, with the power remaining unchanged; however, the cost is very high!
For operation at reduced power, no changes are needed, right?
