Has anyone used a metal detector on conveyor belts for powdered products? What was the results? Could you share any relevant experience?

Sensing in this area is one aspect; the key is to remove the metal. I wonder what type of metal it is? Can I add an electromagnet?
Generally, strong magnets are used to remove it directly. Why bother with testing? For the processes I’ve encountered, magnets are usually used directly to remove it.
