On September 10, the handover ceremony was held for the Yan’an crude oil storage facility and related facilities project of Yanchang Petroleum, marking the completion of the project 20 days ahead of schedule after more than 8 months of intensive construction, and ushering it officially into the preparatory phase for trial production. Since the project began on January 10, all the participants in the refining and chemical processing project command team have shown extraordinary perseverance and determination in overcoming various difficulties (such as tight deadlines, heavy workload, and complex coordination challenges). They have endured extreme weather conditions including ice and snow, strong winds and dust, high temperatures, and continuous rain, demonstrating impressive \"project speed\" and \"project quality\". Faced with complex geological conditions such as collapsible loess and various technical challenges, the person in charge of the general contractor was on site to provide comprehensive technical support. The construction company Huahua Construction adopted a \"tough army\" work ethic and successfully carried out the construction of the largest tank spinning extrusion grouting compaction pile foundation in China, with the depth of these piles setting a record for the industry. In just 3 months, 1.12 million cubic meters of earthwork were removed, the construction of 57,433 pile foundations for 8 storage tanks was completed, nearly 30,000 tons of steel were used, and over 500,000 meters of cables and instrumentation lines were laid. A series of significant construction challenges were successfully overcome, including the routing of long-distance pipelines across rivers, national highways, railways, and intersections with gas pipelines. It is reported that the Yan’an crude oil storage facility and related infrastructure project is a key initiative undertaken by Yanchang Petroleum Group to fulfill its oil storage responsibilities by storing imported crude oil, and it serves to support the 10 million tons per year integrated refining and chemical processing transformation project. Located in the Yangshu Chemical Industry Zone in Luochuan County, Yan’an City, the project has a total investment of 2.102 billion yuan and covers an area of 604.2 mu; it involves the construction of 4 crude oil storage tanks with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters each and 4 tanks with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters each
