Isolated transformer neutral line “floating ground””

There is an isolation transformer with a 220V to 220V output being used as a direct power supply for a computer. The computer has failed three times, resulting in the destruction of three components; the voltage measured at the power supply is 230V, which is within the normal range. What could be the cause of this? Is there a reason related to electricity? Is this a unidirectional transformer that doesn’t distinguish between neutral and live wires?
