Inspection for Violations at the Construction Site (Issue No. 7, September 26, 2018): 1. There are many violations at construction or production sites, which hinder stable and safe production. Workers working at heights were not wearing safety belts, and there were no warning signs at the site
Workers should wear safety belts. Stand on a stable temporary platform or ladder.
1. The scaffolding columns are not secured; diagonal bracing and horizontal supports should be installed; 2. When laying the scaffold planks, they should be laid completely and securely, with the distance from the vertical wall on the side facing the wall not exceeding 150 mm. 3. Scaffolding planks should be secured with steel wires ; 4. Incomplete use of protective equipment by construction workers – Protective masks and similar items should be worn ; 5. When working at heights, a safety belt must be worn and a supervisor should be assigned ; 6. Safety evacuation routes should be provided for work at heights ; 7. Some on-site personnel were not wearing protective clothing ; 8. Isolation barriers and warning signs should be installed at the construction site ; 9. Welding at heights without measures to prevent spark splashing ; 10. Unrelated personnel should not remain at the site, and clutter there should be cleared promptly.
